
Walkington village has several pubs within a three minute walk of the cottage.
The Dog and Duck varied menu, The Ferguson Fawcett have a carvery, salad bar.
The Barrel Inn does not serve food.
The village shop, located 300 yards from The Cottage, includes an off licence, Post office, and usual village shop facilities.
We have a duck pond where you can feed the ducks and there is a childrens play area on the playing field. There are plenty of scenic walks from the cottage where you can walk your dog.
Beverley hosts all the major Banks and Building Societies, and has a wide range of shops. There is pay and display parking available. Larger chain stores are available in Hull or York.
Walkington is within easy reach of the coast, the Yorkshire Dales and Moors, and across the Humber Bridge, Lincoln.
Hull, with the popular attraction The Deep, is 20 minutes away with a park and ride facility situated on the A63.
The historic city of York is a 40 minute drive away with a park and ride facility situated on the A1079.
